Especially for the Lithuanian military, international exercises will be held in Kaunas and Marijampolė counties from October 6 to 9. The exercises, which will take place both during the day and at night, aim to train Lithuanian soldiers in cooperation with various state institutions and organizations to respond to different types of military threats. To simulate real conditions and develop cooperation between the military and civilian institutions, training will be conducted in civilian areas. Soldiers and officers will wear uniforms and civilian clothes and will carry firearms and other military equipment. The exercises will involve foot and wheeled vehicle movement. Different types of drones, imitation ammunition, and pyrotechnics will be used in various training scenarios. Civilian objects used for training purposes will be coordinated directly with their owners. Residents are asked to remain calm as the exercises are planned in advance and conducted according to established safety procedures. The exercise commander will be responsible for safety, fire safety, and environmental protection requirements during the drills.
